How it all started

I’m Emily, owner & designer of July Studio. I have always had a passion for creativity and hand-making items.

One day, during the 2020 lockdown, I was intrigued by a TikTok video of someone making polymer clay earrings. It looked super fun so I decided to give it a go. I loved the freedom of being able to create any design I wanted as there is so much creative potential with polymer clay.

I enjoyed it so much that I decided to start my own earrings journey and opened an Etsy store in November 2020.

It started as a hobby in my spare time, but is now a growing small business.

 

Why I kept going

Growing up, I was always the shy, quiet girl - reserved, often blending into the background, fearful of judgement, and anxious about what others thought of me.

Over time, I learned to slowly break free from those insecurities, and now, I aspire to help others do the same through my jewellery.
